The purpose of this study was to pilot test and evaluate an innovative staffing approach called the Neighborhood Assistant (NA) at the Francis E. Parker Memorial Home. The goal of the program was to support the certified nursing assistants by empowering them to partner with the NA to regain person-centered moments with residents. To evaluate the pilot testing of this program, a pre- and post-implementation evaluation was conducted that included employee observations, focus groups, interviews, and questionnaires.en_US
