I Saw it on YouTube: Representations of Libraries and What We Can Learn From Them

Abstract

Free video hosting services like YouTube are a popular platform for libraries to post their online tutorials and promotional videos, but are also venues for fictionalized satirical depictions of situations at public service desks. This session will highlight several of these kinds of videos and what they can teach us about how libraries deliver services.
