This study explores the sex differences in aversion-resistant drinking. Mice were used in an operant conditioning setting in order to study these differences. We found that female mice exhibited aversion-resistance behavior when quinine was added to ethanol and sucrose. Males only exhibited aversion-resistant behavior at 100 uM of quinine in ethanol.en_US
