Abstract

In recent years, K-12 and academic libraries have seen an increasing demand to provide online access to film that can be used as part of course instruction. The Technology, Education and Copyright Harmonization (TEACH) Act, found in Section 110(2), of US copyright law provides one option for connecting students with video as part of online learning. In this 60-minute webinar, we took a look at the requirements of the TEACH Act. We'll also explore additional options available to libraries and educational institutions looking to connect instructors and students with video online, including via streaming reserve services.
