The purpose of this project is to improve an existing pipe bending testing procedure for HDPE 3”-6” diameter pipe. Instead of a manual, unstandardized process, there will be an automated, standardized one more efficient and easier to operate. This will include a fully guarded fixture, being that safety is a number one priority. Data collection will also be a new option, so that the plant can prevent future defects in the product, thus saving money and time.en_US
