Marketing is not one of the skills often associated with librarians, but marketing is a very important piece to connecting users to the library, the staff, and the resources available at the library. Because most libraries do not have a marketing person/staff, this responsibility often falls to one or more of the librarians or library staff. This session will focus on how to get started with marketing and how to develop a marketing plan that fits your library. Attendees will leave this session feeling more confident about their marketing abilities and gain some ideas to help them get started with marketing their libraries right away!en_US
